Hello,
I was asked to report this bug here to involve kernel developers in recognizing problem that appeared recently on my Kubuntu laptop in the following circumstances:
Kernel was updated to 5.3.0-19,
Nvidia proprietary driver was updated to 435.21.
Nvidia DKMS driver was patched by ubuntu maintainers by removing call of pci_save_state() on switching to S3 state. Without this patch return from suspend works OK.
Kernel / Nvidia packages are from official (K)ubuntu repository.
