Description JohnathonKM 2019-10-13 02:29:15 UTC
The NAS uses Thunderbolt to connect to the computer, upon a restart when attempting to load the 'stex' module it will fail returning "memory map failed" but if I reboot the server and the NAS has no HDDs it loads fine. As I put the HDDs in it will load fine after enough reboots but a lot of the time it takes more than one.

[ 1.304426] stex: Promise SuperTrak EX Driver version: 6.02.0000.01
[    1.304460] stex 0000:0c:00.0: enabling device (0000 -> 0003)
[    1.319603] scsi host0: stex

is what the driver returns from a DMESG if the driver loaded fine and the device is operational
