Monitor get no signal during booting.

cpu is Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-7100, no discrete graphics.

I'm using arch linux stock kernel.

I'm sorry I specified a wrong kernel version. Have corrected that.

Exactly the same problem here:

- normal boot: display screen goes dead black (no vga signal);
- with "i915.modeset=0" boots and displays alright but leads to no X desktop session;
- with "nomodeset" boots screen and starts X alright, although extremely slow and unusable.

Occurs on all 5.3 kernels to date, including 5.3.5.
