Hello,

the driver for Asus sound card with chip CMI8888/CM8888 doesn't work at all,
there is no real output from the sound card even when I see in GUI that some sound comes thru that jack but I don't hear anything at all and most of the jack ports doesn't work(like they don't even detect eg.: headphone jack is in that port), only two of them Mic and Headphone, others like 7.1 doesn't work at all.

I attached a link to a thread about it which is on manjaro forum
if there is needed some more information I will try to provide any information I can
I really don't know what information to provide at this moment, I don't have much experience, I'm actually quite new into Linux.

I found out that when I don't connect completely the jack into the jack port in the sound card I hear the audio, it seems the layers are switched

Because when I put it there to connect the first layer with the last I hear the audio in very bad quality but I hear it.
