Description Dennis Jansen 2010-10-13 12:56:43 UTC
This happens if I leave any program active that opens /dev/*dsp* /dev/snd/*.

I use snd-hda-intel with the following parameters for it to work in the first place: options snd-hda-intel power_save=10 power_save_controller=N position_fix=1 bdl_pos_adj=64

It's on a MSI Wind U110 netbook.

ACPI files and dmesg, lspci can be found here:
https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=19762

Please let me know if I can provide any further information.

ps. During resume there seems to be a kernel panic as the three keyboard light (Numlk, Caps, ...) are flashing. REISUB does not seem to work. Logs do not exist.

If this is still seen with a modern kernel please re-open/update thanks
