"The internal microphone on this troublesome laptop stopped working after upgrading from Bionic to Cosmic. There is no signal from the microphone with kernel 4.18.0-7 or 4.18.0-8.

This DOES work correctly with kernel 4.15.0-34 that is still present on Cosmic after the upgrade."

Facing similar issue in lenevo ideapad 330.
