Description Martin Cihlář 2018-07-09 17:37:38 UTC
Device running Gentoo Linux, kernel compiled from gentoo-sources (i.e. not vanilla from kernel.org). Issue reproducible on a 4.17 kernel as well. Currently using the PulseAudio with UCM file from:
https://github.com/plbossart/UCM/tree/master/bytcr-rt5640
Note the firmware loading messages from intel_sst_acpi, FW seems to fail to load at boot, but loads successfully after starting X server. Firmware fails to load even when the FW blob is built in (FIRMWARE_IN_KERNEL=y, EXTRA_FIRMWARE=intel/fw_sst_0f28.bin, EXTRA_FIRMWARE_DIR=/lib/firmware).
Let me know if you need anything.
