also affect kernel 4.17rc2
kernels 4.15.18 and 4.16.2 work fine

issue still present in 4.16.5

some more info: im using manjaro my mobo is asus b350m-e
no error is shown when shutdown or rebooting, system just freezes with the same text as a normal shutdown

bug fixed in 4.17rc3

bug still present in 4.16.6 leaving it open until its also fixed there
