syslog of crash

The entire system hung up, I restarted and checked the syslog and found this error and some bizarre stuff. 

I also got pop up errors from various applications saying they could not create threads, or ran out of memory. htop though told me I had 13+ GB free of memory.

I also want to add this is the first time I've ever encountered this problem.
