I've been advised to file a bug report here.

Hardware IDs from Windows

Apparently it is a
Dell Wireless 1537 802.11 a/g/n Adapter

Works on Windows, I tried the driver via ndiswrapper but it reports "Hardware Present: no"

Apparently it's SDIO which may be why it's not seen at all in Linux?
