Picture of screen when using 144Hz

Software/Hardware
--------
OS: Fedora 24 x86_64 - X11
Mesa: 12.0.3
CPU: AMD Phenom II X6 1090T
GPU: ASUS STRIX R9 380 4GB
Monitor: ASUS MG278Q (144Hz (with a display port cable) and Freesync)

Problem:
When using 144Hz, the horizontally there is only a small portion of the screen that displays correctly. The rest of the screen is either black or flashes with lines. This has been a problem since installing Fedora 24 initially.

Temporary Workaround:
Created a startup item to change the refresh rate to 120Hz using xrandr
