Description Sebastian Herbst 2010-08-29 23:20:43 UTC
Whenever intel-agp is loaded (via udev or manually using insmod)
the kernel is trapped with a page fault. Unfortunately I have no idea
how to save the sometimes showing stack backtrace into a file.

Compiling the module statically into the kernel causes to immediately crash
the kernel when it's loaded.

My hardware is Lenovo X300. The affected configs are attached to this bug
report. If you need further information on this issue, I'll be happy to supply
it here.

Is this a regression? Was 2.6.34 OK?

Thanks.
Comment 3 Dave Airlie 2010-12-12 08:02:02 UTC
can we get a dmesg from a booted kernel?
Comment 4 Jesse Barnes 2012-04-18 21:32:10 UTC
Timeout waiting for update (plus I think it's fixed).
