I don't know where to fill this, so be free to move this bug report.

On Ubuntu 10.04 :

- I installed kernel 2.6.36-999 for tests related to https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/585699
- after 3 hours of use, my computer crashed completely, showing a big error code (see attached acreenshot I took with my camera)
- I then removed the "i8042.nomux=1" parameter, and i could not reproduce any crash in ~20hours of use.

FYI, I also added a PPA for xorg one week ago (http://ppa.launchpad.net/xorg-edgers/radeon/ubuntu)

Any idea ?

This looks like the same problem fix here:
https://lists.linux-foundation.org/pipermail/linux-pm/2010-September/028522.html

https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=17922

Could you try the patch in 17922 and see if the problem goes away?

thanks!
