This entry is being used for tracking a regression from 2.6.34. Please don't
close it until the problem is fixed in the mainline.

I've found that this issue is the same described in:

The proposed workaround of setting

#define HAS_BSD(dev)            (0)

in i915_drv.h works also for me.

Seems to be fixed in 2.6.36-rc2. Probably by merge commit 
4238a417a91643e1162a98770288f630e37f0484
