Description RussianNeuroMancer 2010-07-18 08:55:36 UTC
D-Link DWA-140 B2 (RT3071-based) can't connect to 802.11n-mode AP. If I change AP mode to Mixed or g-only, then D-Link DWA-140 B2 can connect to this AP. Tested on 2.6.34 and 2.6.35.

With 2.6.32 kernel and rt3070 driver from this repository https://launchpad.net/~logari81/+archive/ppa adapter can work in 802.11n-mode.

Still issue in 2.6.35rc6.
Comment 3 RussianNeuroMancer 2010-09-30 00:00:59 UTC
Now with 2.6.35-22 kernel in Ubuntu Maverick adapter can connect to 802.11n-mode AP, but always set 54 Mbit/s connection speed, even channel width is 40 MHz.
Comment 4 RussianNeuroMancer 2012-03-02 09:25:20 UTC
Not issue anymore since 2.6.38 kernel.
