3 or 4 times a day during peak use times the ipw2200 disconnects from the internet. Sometimes I can reconnect via starting a new web browser page.
The other case is I'll have to reconnect thru the NetworkManager.
I run 2.6.30.10-105.2.23.fc11.i586 on a dell x300 laptop. The network people
told me the router is operating normally. I know wpa_supplicant is running.
Is there anyway this can be fixed in short order? I use an ssh client and it
disconnects in either case.

thx.,
pete

Disconnections happen sometimes, this isn't necessarily a problem. It sounds like you are able to reconnect without much trouble?

If you really believe there is a problem, please attach the output of dmesg after a disconnect. Also, please attempt to replicate the issue on a more recent kernel if at all possible. Thanks!
