The _PPC method on T61 returns 2 when the laptop boots without battery.
This is meaningless because it disables the processor P0 and P1 state in AC mode.

Len, " This is a T61 specific bug, and I don't want to mess up the general code path to address a BIOS bug on a single machine.. Another way is to boot the machine with a battery in it, like everybody else does. If you need the battery out of the machine for measurements, take it out after boot."
