Created attachment 232081 [details] Alsa info "Headphone" control changes actual volume of both speakers and headphones. "Speaker" control changes neither. As the result when I unplug headphones and "Headphone" volume is set to zero I have no sound from speakers either.
You need to identify which pin corresponds to which actual I/O. hda_analyzer and hda-jack-retask would be your help. Once when you figure out the pin mapping, please let me know. Then we can start cooking up the fixup patch.

Hello! I have a similar computer and experienced the same audio problem. The fix for me was the .conf file in the modprobe.d directory with the next contents: options snd_hda_intel model=alc283-dac-wcaps Although it fixes the issue, I think that it may not be the best solution: the mixers in alsamixer have been affected and some of them disappeared. The logs produced by alsa-info: Before fix: http://www.alsa-project.org/db/?f=5587d71a8aa41577acb8d535014a4fc6d838b8ed After fix: http://www.alsa-project.org/db/?f=a3ace7fe8627dcb3a36c3dd4aefd792af7fc109b Thank you in advance!
