Buildlog of 4.1.16 on ppc-32

4.4.16 doesn't build with gcc-6_6.1.1. 4.7 does. Please find attached faillog.

BTW the same config builds with gcc-5 just fine,

Which config?

Can you apply commit 1e407ee3b21f ("powerpc/ptrace: Fix out of bounds array access warning"), and confirm that fixes it?
