2.6.32 config file

Some time after the 2.6.30 kernel I found the video driver on the HP NC6000 laptop was broke.

I tried a couple of the 2.6.31 kernels with the same problem.

the config file for 2.6.32 is attached, the xlog, relevant bits of /var/log/messages and dmesg

First, you are getting an oops in the apic setup which isn't radeon related:

Secondly, you are not using a KMS-aware xorg radeon ddx driver which won't work if KMS is active in the drm which is the case on your system.  Boot with radeon.modeset=0 to load the drm without KMS support or upgrade your ddx to one with KMS support.
