This entry is being used for tracking a regression from 2.6.28.  Please don't
close it until the problem is fixed in the mainline.

This bug still exists in 2.6.30-rc6-git2.
I get a delay of ~25s on an eee 901.

I just booted into 2.6.31 and the issue appears to no longer exist.
