Description LÉVAI Dániel 2008-11-22 23:16:18 UTC
Latest working kernel version: none
Earliest failing kernel version: 2.6.27.7
Distribution: latest stable release tarball from kernel.org
Hardware Environment: acer TravelMate 7520g, ATI Radeon HD 2400 XT (discrete)
Software Environment: Debian sid/unstable
Problem Description:
Resuming from S3 works fine, except the display won't turn on.
I can fiddle with keyboard, so I can shutdown safely, but can't see what is
going on.

Steps to reproduce:
# echo mem > /sys/power/state
[... press the power button to wake up]

the S3 video issue.
while it has been fixed in the intel graphics, I think it can also be fixed in the ATI drm driver, right?
