Created attachment 218481 [details] dmesg with dynamic debug info for rtsx_usb_ms My laptop freezes during resume (from ACPI state S3) roughly one out of five times. When using X the screen stays black; without X I can switch VTs, but they are non-responsive. The dmesg, obtained via kdump, shows that the kernel is stuck in the rtsx_usb_ms module. Disabling this module appears to solve the problem. The problem occurs at least with kernels 4.2 through 4.6. I haven't tested other kernels. I will attach two dmesgs showing several suspend/resume cycles, initiated by rtcwake, with the last cycle stuck in rtsx_usb_ms, followed by hung task reports, a manually triggered crash and a stack trace. The first dmesg contains dynamic debug info for the rtsx_usb_ms module and the second includes dynamic debug info for rtsx_usb_ms and rtsx_usb. Bug [101351] might be related. I'm running Debian stretch with kernels provided by Debian. Please let know if you need more information. Best, Joost [101351]: https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=101351
