I am using Archlinux with MacbookPro11,4.
After updating to kernel version 4.5 and setting X to use sna (which is Xorg's default) or glamor.
Quitting X will make screen tearing.
And I got got these kernel's error messages. 
[drm:intel_set_cpu_fifo_underrun_reporting [i915]] *ERROR* uncleared fifo underrun on pipe A
[drm:intel_cpu_fifo_underrun_irq_handler [i915]] *ERROR* CPU pipe A FIFO underrun
But uxa will wont make screen tearing.
I can confirm that sna and glamor works perfect at 4.4.5.
