Description Andreas Kloeckner 2016-01-28 14:46:56 UTC
I run that command in a cronjob, and it would save me a few emails per day to have it run in a way in which it didn't generate output unless something went wrong.
Comment 1 David Sterba 2016-01-29 11:20:24 UTC
We're about to add --verbose/--quiet options to every command, no ETA yet.
Comment 2 David Sterba 2022-10-04 13:27:58 UTC
The quiet option is available as global option since 5.7, ie.

# btrfs -q subvolume snapshot source dest

will not print anything.
