You have to post output of lsusb -vvvv for your usb audio device

Seem there are error for two endpoints (playback and capture) if your usb have mic and speaker phone

I already reported about two other phoenix devices having the same problem, and the patch is already deployed https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=117321

However today I attached another older phoenix DUET to my PC and, with my surprise, even if is called TMX320VC5509 it has a different vendorID (0556 instead of 1de7)

I have another device to add to this list: Jabra Pro 930 (model WHB003) with vendor/prod 0b0e:1016.
I have confirmed that adding this to the get_sample_rate_quirk gets rid of the freq errors. (Isn't there a way to automatically detect this problem instead of having to rely on quirks?)

Please check 4.7-rc1.  There is no longer continuous error reporting but it warns only twice.  So, it shouldn't be so much annoying with such a device.

And, I don't want to continue this bug report forever.  For any new device, please open another bug report instead of hanging over the dead horse.  Thanks.

Apparently Jabra fixed this bug in newer firmware (yes, even a simple headset has firmware nowadays). The old buggy firmware was 1.14 (see bcdDevice field), the latest is 2.23. This version also fixes a nasty problem that caused modprobe to hang for 100 seconds.
