I have been playing around with installing Linux (Fedora 23 or KaOS) on a MS Surface Pro 3. All works fine, even the Typecover keyboard is recognized, but not the keys.The type covers mousepad is recognized too. 

Not sure how/what to test/provide, but would be happy to provide additional information as needed.
