Description Gregory Davis 2015-10-13 19:25:22 UTC
The GPG public key is needed to verify the releases at:
http://drvbp1.linux-foundation.org/~mcgrof/rel-html/backports/

which is the download page referenced at:
https://backports.wiki.kernel.org/index.php/Main_Page

For instance, the release:
backports-3.19-rc1-1
is signed with key id 583D1332,
which doesn't seem to exist pgp.mit.edu or keyserver.pgp.com or pool.sks-keyservers.net.

Various google searches did not yield any documentation on accessing the public key.

Hi,

This is my signing subkey, see this
https://pgp.mit.edu/pks/lookup?op=vindex&search=0xADC5F48295C58E7B

When I search for 583D1332 at https://pgp.mit.edu/ I get the correct key.

Is there something wrong with this key?

Hi,

My search results are empty when I search for 583D1332 at https://pgp.mit.edu/.

There were no other search terms available:
- could not see that "Hauke Mehrtens" was the signer
- nor an email address
A note somewhere on the website would be helpful.

It's a mystery as to why I'm getting different results than you are for the search.

Thanks.
