Created attachment 188611 [details] ABRT report files My laptop keeps reporting "temperature above threshold" errors that always last 1ms and cannot be reported with ABRT. I'm pretty sure this is not a real temperature error condition, because I made test and diagnostic I checked my hardware my motherboard, fan everything clean It's all new because I did replacement.I thought it was real but I asked to warranty about that and they give me instructions(I had to do in windows since warranty only support it) and I get all "PASS" result we used "intel tools" for intel cpu and everything was fine. I played high-level games and did testing on "windows" I tried everything but when I come to "Fedora" I tried to compile "nvidia driver" or do something else for making CPU under stress It's become really slow and temperature "100 C" rising from 30 to 102 in second. When this errors happened my "abrt" files in attachment about error. It cannot be reported but maybe It can be useful also put the dmesg report. If anything else needed please let me know. I really really want to understand and solve this problem for sure. So anyone else can be effected and It would be good for other people hopefully.

Hi Tony, Onuralp's laptop keeps reporting error meesages like "CPU0: Package temperature above threshold, cpu clock throttled (total events = 139)", can you please take a look at this bug? Thanks.
please attach the output of "grep . /sys/class/thermal/*/*" when the overheat is detected. BTW, > CPU under stress It's become really slow and temperature "100 C" rising from > 30 to 102 in second. > where do you get this "100C" temperature reading?

I read that heat with "lm_sensors".
Hello, any news ? I sent the attachments Thank you
Today I updated the kernel and still I have the same problem undergoing.
I made another upgrade on my kernel for testing purpose Kernel version : 4.3.0-0.rc3.git3.1.fc24.x86_64 I can revert the upgrade and but that problem I had still happening and there is no way CPU can be that hot because I put extra cooler(which I never ever needed) and even feeling of hotness not even close to 159 C (come on!!)
I don't see overheating via thermal sysfs I/F from comment #4, so can you please attach the output of "grep . /sys/class/hwmon/*/*" and "grep . /sys/class/thermal/*/*" at the same time, when the "overheat" happens?
