Description Steve Lemieux 2015-04-23 00:40:57 UTC
Hi,

I had a trick to be able to play web radio on Linux even when LUbuntu fall in sleep mode with the login screen. I put myself on a console (Alt-F1 for example), login as my user and it continue to play my web radio that plays on the Alt-F7 screen. It does work when I'm on 3.14.37, but not when I'm on on 3.14.39.

Currently, to let my web radio plays even when I'm on Alt-F1, I stay on 3.14.37. To test what I'm talking about, you have to be on LUbuntu Server 14.04.02 (I speak of LUbuntu cause I took the light version of Gnome/LXDE/the thing that makes windows); you have to have the versions of kernel I speak about and I use a french web radio - google Webradio 98.5 Montreal (it should give you www.985fm.ca/webradio). Open the web radio in a browser - I use Firefox - and do Alt-F1 and open a seesion with the same user as in the Alt-F7 (where Firefox should be).

Hoping everything is all right,

Steve Lemieux
