The setup
	Linux/1394b - 9-to-6-pin cable - 1394b HDD --- Linux/1394b
does not work:  Ping says "Destination Host Unreachable".  This setup forces the
bus to work at S400(A) and looks exactly like an S400B bus.

This coincides with a report that I got via personal mail:  eth1394 does not
work on an S400B bus because no GASP packets are sent.
