Before this happened I also experienced this: Bug 83561 - Suboptimal chainsaw behavior in copying between to SD cards Created attachment 148881 [details]
kern.log while this happened
I truncated it to the time span where this happened.
With merkaba:~> rsync -aP --bwlimit 5000 /media/martin/MUSIK1/ /media/martin/MUSIK/ the data transfer completed without any further errors in dmesg / kern.log. So probably this only happens on massive data transfers filling buffers and queues completely. I did not see any errors like that in a long time. Closing. Previously there was a state like WORKSFORME. Now there is only CODE_FIX and UNREPRODUCIBLE. I am not sure whether the code has been fixed and if so by what commit. Also initially it was reproducible. Thus reopening again. Feel free to close it with the proper flag. I donĀ“t know what it would be. I did not see the erroneous behavior since years actually, but it has been there initially. It might have been that the code has been fixed, but it might also have any other cause that this did not reappear. |
