Graphics card is 00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Xeon E3-1200 v2/3rd Gen Core processor Graphics Controller (rev 09) Are these bugs possibly related? Might be related: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=81539 and https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=77104 Maybe this is related https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=80229 Chris, care to take a look at this one? Created attachment 147931 [details] Systemd journal showing the kernel [drm] hang Running chrome in kde occasionally chrome hangs after updates the past day or two, and no further mouse input can be made. Can killall chrome to recover. Running google-chrome 36.0.1985.143-1 in kde version 4.14.0-1 with latest kernel linux 3.16.1-1 The journal contains the following lines: Aug 24 10:01:33 home1 kernel: [drm] stuck on render ring Aug 24 10:01:33 home1 kernel: [drm] GPU HANG: ecode 0:0xf5f7fffe, in chrome [11355], reason: Ring hung, action: reset Aug 24 10:01:33 home1 kernel: [drm] GPU hangs can indicate a bug anywhere in the entire gfx stack , including userspace.
