Can you try suspending with minimum number of modules, from init=/bin/bash?
Comment 5 Len Brown 2006-07-01 10:14:58 UTC
Is there any known previous kernel or distribution that has successfully
suspended to disk on this platform?
Comment 6 Adrian Bunk 2006-09-06 09:15:42 UTC
Please reopen this bug if:
- it is still present in kenrel 2.6.18-rc6 and
- you can provide the requested information.
Comment 7 Scott Murphy 2006-09-09 09:26:09 UTC
Problem is still there with 2.6.18-rc6. The text seems to get further though,
revealing information about the CPU not being able to suspend.

Tried with init=/bin/bash. Photograph of text is attached aswell.

I can't change the distribution. It's the girlfriends laptop, so can't take it
for long. Any specific previous kernel I should try it with?

Is the bug still present in 2.6.22-rc3 and/or the current -git ?
