Description lux_2 2013-07-28 12:28:00 UTC
when booting my macbook core duo, it freezes about 3 or 4 times and the 5th time it boots fine.

when it freezes i get a trace containing "intel_display_capture_error_state" and then this error: "kernel panic - not syncing: fatal exception in interrupt"

i'm using archlinux with kernel 3.10.2-1-ARCH

this is my first bug report, so please walk me through the steps to do a good bug report or link a page where i can find a howto. thanks

i forgot to mention, in older releases i can't remember having that issue
Comment 2 Alan 2013-11-13 16:39:35 UTC
Assigned to the right place. Please test a current kernel and if the same occurs when it boots ok attach a "dmesg"
Comment 3 Daniel Vetter 2013-11-13 22:20:42 UTC
When grabbing the dmesg please add drm.debug=0xe to your kernel cmdline for tons of useful gfx related debug info.

Not likely we'll get a response from http://lavabit.com/ hosted email address.
