Most recent kernel where this bug did not occur: 2.6.12-1.1456   
Distribution: FEDORA CORE 4   
Hardware Environment: SIS 746FX mainboard, CMI (SiS) onboard audio card.   
Software Environment: KDE 3.4.2-1.2   
Problem Description: SiS CMI onboard sound card not working with FC4 latest 
kernel 2.6.13-1.1526 
 
Steps to reproduce: After installing the new kernel offered on the yum   
repository, two weeks ago (i think) my onboard sound card SIS CMI it's not   
working anymore.

Any improvement in the latest kernel release + alsa-lib 1.0.10 or later?

I'm assuming this issue is already fixed.

Please reopen this bug if it's still present in kernel 2.6.16.5.
