Just found this while trying to triage a similar issue (both with the WNA1100 and a TP-Link AR7010 device); ath9k_htc instability seems endemic and there are lots of reports to this effect. Hughes: you mention you used to have a working kernel? Do you know what it was? Hi, This bug became really strange. When I'm using Internet and working on my computer, everything seems to be fine. But when I start to play a specific game called "Heroes of Newerth", the bug appears and sometimes my dongle is simply restarted. I don't remember being disconnected while I was working. Tried with an other dongle (HWGUSB2-54-LB with rt73usb) and it disconnected once. So, I don't know what's going on and where the bug is located. I cannot tell you what kernel is working (it's been a long time and now I'm with 3.8.8) but kernels before 3.6.10 or even 3.6.9 should be ok. is still reproducable with latest kernel and firmware from git? |
