Created attachment 89851 [details] aadebug I have recently installed a new PCIe audio card by Creative CA0132 which results in static noise after opening the PCM device and playing audio. It seems that the mixer part is in fact working, muting the speaker does mute the noise, and increasing or decreasing the volume does increase or decrease the noise strenght. It seems that the alsa bugtracker itself is down, so I'll stick to the bugtracker here.
