Hardware Environment:AMD64 dual-core 3800+
Software Environment:32-bit debian sid
Problem Description:powernowd would run on only one core at a time..after a long
uptime errors showed in messages  . enought to not use it past git4 or so

Steps to reproduce:build cpufreq into kernel; run powernowd as daemon using
modules~ freq_table, powernow_k8
errors: powernow-k8: error - out of sync, fix 0x2 0xc, vid 0x12 0xa, for
hundreds of lines
with rc7 powernowd doesnt start at all
the same kernel-source and config work fine on 64-bit

Is this problem still prsenet in 2.6.20-rc7?

2.6.20-rc7 64-bit SMP , cpufreq is not working on  my AMD64x2 3800+
Software Environment:64-bit debian sid
will build 32-bit later today

Bug was reported for 2.6.13-rc7 32-bit [i stopped using powernow-xx on that box]
