dmesg

I'm using Ubuntu 12.10 x64 on a Acer 5755G laptop. When I insert my Sony memory stick pro duo (with a memory stick duo adaptor) memory card nothing happens. It does work in Windows 7 on the same laptop. SD cards work in Ubuntu too with this card reader. (SD Host controller: Broadcom Corporation NetXtreme BCM57765 Memory Card Reader (rev 10))

This is still an issue in Ubuntu 13.10.
3.11.0-12-generic x64.

Also affect the current mainline kernel (3.14-rc3).

This SD Host Controller Driver works absolutely bad with any of my memory sticks (including SD, SDHC snd SDXC). It always crashes and dmesg shows errors reading/writing almost any blocks.

Also affects Gateway NE56R09b.

I think that this bug report is probably linked with https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=59311 .
