What distro are you running? Ubuntu uses kexec for reboot, which can be problematic. Gentoo with gentoo-sources kernel built with genkernel. hi, Could you check whether the bug exist in the v3.10-rc4 and provide some logs during hang? |
Created attachment 86681 [details] lspci output I've ASUS UX31A unit. Intel's powertop advices to disable NMI watchdog to improve power consumption. But disabling of it makes kernel hanging during system reboot/shutdown when openrc tries to "remount / as readonly"
