Problem Description:

sata_sx4 looks for Promise PCI ID 6622 but this board reports 6621. Not sure if
this is a significant difference. From what I've read, this board may be a
slightly dumbed-down version of the 6622 model for 33 MHz bus only but I'm not
quite sure. I'm building sata_sx4 with the 6621 ID now and will update this bug
to indicate whether sata_sx4 works for it or not.

Steps to reproduce:

Found the board now but stuff is timing out. No idea if this is a hardware
problem or the driver not working. I guess I'll install windoze and see if the
HW works....
Comment 3 Alan Crosswell 2005-07-27 09:34:19 UTC
I did install winXP and the hardware works fine.

Any progress on this, or is 6621 support still busted
in 2.6.13-rc4?
Comment 5 Adrian Bunk 2006-02-04 14:11:27 UTC
I'm assuming this issue is already fixed.

Please reopen this bug if it's still present in recent 2.6 kernels.
