Seems the author is Thomas Winischhofer, who is also the author of the sisfb. If he wants it in the kernel, he probably have submitted it already. (You can always contact him). Plus I don't see any GPL licensing in any of the source code. Also, if you do intend to submit the code, please resubmit in patch -p1 form, and if possible without the extra code for 2.4 (although Thomas likes it that way), so that is optional. I'll close this entry, and just post in linux-fbdev-devel@lists.sourceforge.net next time so this driver can be reviewed. |
