ideapad-laptop driver enhancement - NEW
I'm sorry, previous patch was incorrect, here is a new one.
I'm afraid we can only accept patches via the mailing list along with a Signed-off-by: line See Documentation/SubmittingPatches Thanks Maxim: As Alan says, can you please follow the guidelines in Documentation/SubmittingPatches and email this patch to platform-driver-x86@vger.kernel.org and Cc: ike.pan@canonical.com who maintains the Ideapad driver? Thanks, I'm sorry, I will send the patch to mailing list now. I have the problem with Lenovo Ideapad G585. When press Fn+F5 it does not unblock the wireless card (ath9k) from hard block, just changes the software block from yes to know so I cannot use the wifi. The only way to unblock the card is to use Windows OS. Does this patch fix this issue ? Thanks This bug relates to a very old kernel. Closing as obsolete. |
Created attachment 73331 [details] ideapad-laptop driver enhancement The patch adds support for Lenovo IdeaPad Z570 laptop. It makes all special keys working, adds possibility to control fan like Windows does and controls Touchpad Disabled LED.
