Hi,

i have some issues with my USB keyboard (Cherry Smartboard xx44).

Sometimes it stops working and i have to unplug and replug it.

Another issue is the reponse of pressing keys.

It does not respond on every key hit, means there are commands which do not work because i misstyped the due to the issue above.

Also this is a pity typing password you don't see.

for example i open a terminal and start typing as usual i only see:

udo apt-get update

I have to press the first key twice to have the right letter displayed.

If i don't stop typing it works, but if there is a little break between the issue is there.

In my Ubuntu bug report i got adviced to try an upstream version of the kernel, there the same issue persists.

I used the kernel from here:

http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v3.4-rc5-precise/

My Ubuntu bug report is here:

This bug relates to a very old kernel. Closing as obsolete.
