Hi all,
not sure to post in the correct category, anyway

i am experiencing a KMS issue with a radeon HD6670

I set up the kernel config to enable KMS/radeon support.
When i boot, depending on the "vga= " modeset, using video=radeonfb and radeon.modeset=1, i get blank screen, or a completely black/white confused screen.
Sometime the kernel boot, other not. Don't matter if i set-up grub to start as 640x480 or 1280x1024.

With same kernel settings, radeon HD5450 was booting correctly, and was then able to use xorg with Gallium3d.

`--> cat /proc/version                                                                                                                                   ~
Linux version 3.1.6 (root@angel3) (gcc version 4.6.2 (Debian 4.6.2-9) ) #1 SMP Thu Jan 19 17:17:13 CET 2012

Does it work ok if you remove all the vga= and radeonfb options? Please attach your dmesg output and xorg log.

Could it be explained by this bug: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=43655
