Is this still seen (heard ?) with current kernels ? With newer versions of Linux, I don't have problems. Thanks for confirming this |
Created attachment 71562 [details] dmesg To reproduce the problem, I tried to install the version 3.0 of Linux on Ubuntu 11.04 and I also tried to use it on Ubuntu 11.10. In both the system, with the same kernel, I used the Sound Recorder to record something and in both the system it emitted cracklings. The problem cannot be replied with an older version of the kernel.
