that's it, if you try to suspend your HP DM1 Netbook, he won't wake up so your unique way to recover your system is turn off the laptop. if you need any other information please ask me.

Please try the acpi_sleep= kernel command line option as described in
Documentation/kernel-parameters.txt.

Please re-open if you still have a problem
when not using the binary graphics driver.
