Since Kernel 2.6.6, linux Oopses while booting with an ACPI+SMP enabled kernel.

Kernel 2.6.6 works with 'nosmp' or 'acpi=ht'

Version 2.6.7bk10 even breaks with acpi=off or 'nosmp' (maybe another bug ;) ):
