Description Johannes Berg 2011-02-16 08:56:01 UTC
This is a regression from 2.6.37 that has been there throughout the RCs -- on my macbook 5,1 the X server now refuses to start up and the screen just flickers in console mode. I can press ctrl-alt-del to reboot.

Err, ok, upon closer investigation it seems that I didn't even have nouveau even though it says "Kernel driver in use: nouveau"?? Or the recent nouveau fixes fixed it now, not sure. In any case, it's gone.
